Today we honour the memory of Saint Hagop – a saint known for his blameless life and godly deeds, through which he won great respect and reverence among the people.
He was the first in history who dared to climb the holy mountain Ararat, a symbol of spiritual ascent and courage.
Everyone named Hagop celebrates on this day.
